I don't remember exactly when I made my first Barbie doll clothes, but I am sure that I was as excited as I am now while making new clothing for Barbie doll. There is always room for new clothes in her closet.

.As You could read from my personal about page, I discovered crafting again thanks to my goddaughter. She inspired me to create some new clothes for her Barbies. Also, I found new purpose for my 18th-year birthday gift which was a beautiful Barbie doll. Of course, she is not alone anymore. She got some new (or old) friends from my little sister. I make doll clothes mostly from cotton crochet threads. It might sound weird, but sometimes these colorful crochet threads are my source of inspiration. I love shopping for new threads, so I already have lots of boxes full of threads. But sometimes people just give away their thread leftovers. And You may imagine what happens when my cat finds a way to my thread boxes. She is already thrilled about the idea of getting into the box (You know the cats... :D) and then she finds a ball of thread and after that I have to look the thread from under the bed or somewhere like that.

At the moment, not all clothes are my own design. Sometimes I like using other peoples patterns to learn something new. There are days when I just take the hook and start crocheting. Since I have little time, I prefer short projects. My two little boys need more attention. :)
